Where will I take my photos?
I proudly offer my clients a comprehensive location guide with the best spots in Allen County for senior photos. Organized into zones based on personal preferences and proximity, we can walk through these various locations to select the perfect backdrops for your senior portraits.
How do I know what to wear?
Before your senior photo shoot, I always send the AKP Senior Style Guide to help you better prepare for your session. In the guide, you’ll learn all about what looks good on camera, how to incorporate variety into your wardrobe, and which accessories take your shoot from sweet to stunning.
Can I do a really natural makeup look?
Heck, yes, you can! Our professional makeup artists can give you ANY look you want - from super glam to very natural; you get to control how you look in your senior pictures. We even work with you before the session day to find out exactly what your face and hair will look like for each and every look.
When is the best time of year to take my senior photos?
Great question! Ideally, it would be best if you were taking your senior photos the summer before or the autumn of your senior year. If you prefer to take them in the Spring, you should book your shoot for no later than April to leave time for post-processing and product turnaround before graduation. Spring spots fill up quickly. Please book the spot below as soon as possible to secure one of these spots. Trust me, booking your shoot for Autumn is the way to go if you can swing it!
Do you work with seniors guys?
Of course! As a former senior guy's mom, I really enjoy working with Senior guys. They are so creative and what we create together is pretty epic. The senior guys I work with also receive a style guide.
When do you schedule your senior sessions?
I schedule my senior sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in Iola, KS. Remember, your session will begin about three to five hours before the sun sets (depending on whether you choose to get your hair and makeup done). Depending on the changes in daylight savings time, your session may begin at 1:00 p.m. during late fall and winter, 2:30 p.m. in the spring and early fall, and 3:30 p.m. in the summer.

We accept most major credit and debit cards, checks, and cash.
How can I book my session with you?
The best thing you can do is BOOK YOUR SESSION EARLY! I book my sessions a few months in advance and have to turn seniors away every year because I’m completely sold out by the Spring of your graduating year!
