A $175 session deposit reserves your date and is applied toward your selected collection.
Your experience includes planning, wardrobe guidance, professional posing, image retouching, and a personalized image-selection appointment.

How often should we schedule family portraits?
Most families schedule a full portrait session every three to five years or around a meaningful change, such as a new baby, graduation, anniversary, family reunion, or adult children returning home.
What if our family is large?
Large and extended families are welcome.
I create a plan for the full family and smaller groupings so the session stays organized and every important relationship is photographed.
Do you help us choose outfits?
Yes. Wardrobe guidance is included. I help you choose clothing that coordinates without matching too closely and photographs beautifully with your location and artwork goals.
What if our children do not cooperate?
That is normal. I keep the session flexible, guide the family throughout, and work with children’s personalities rather than expecting perfection.
Can grandparents and pets be included?
Absolutely. Grandparents, adult children, blended families, significant others, and pets can all be part of the experience. I actually photograph a lot of legacy family session, aka multi-generations.
Where do family sessions take place?
Sessions may take place in the studio, outdoors around Iola and Southeast Kansas, at your home, or at a meaningful family location.
How much do family portraits cost?
Collections begin at $750. A $175 deposit reserves your date and is applied toward the selected collection.
Do you offer session payment plans?
Yes, we do offer a payment plan! Here’s how it works:
💳 Booking Deposit: A $175 non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure your senior portrait session. This is applied toward your selected collection.
📅 2 Weeks Before Your Session: The first third of your session balance is due.
📸 Day Before Your Session: The second third is due before your scheduled senior photo shoot.
🖼️ 2 Weeks After Your Session (Ordering Appointment): The final third and any additional items purchased is due during your image reveal and ordering appointment.
